The university library owns a collection of more than 2 million books. The value of NCWU’s  laboratory equipments and

facilities amount to over 210 million yuan (RMB).

 

With over 1600 faculty and staff, NCWU offers 60 bachelor.  58 master and 3 doctoral programs to over 23,000 full-time

students and 18000-plus part-time  students.

① Foreign citizens aging from 18 to 35;

② Graduates at least from high schools;

③ Applicants should be healthy, and have no criminal records;

④ Applicants shall have basic Chinese language proficiency, such as HSK Band 3 or other relevant qualifications.

 

III. One-Year-Long Business Chinese Language Programs

1. Junior-level Class

Applicable for students who have mastered about  800  Chinese words and are able to use simple sentence patterns to talk and write. Through one-year learning of listening, speaking, reading and writing in Chinese, most of the students are able to pass the primary-level HSK (Chinese Proficiency Test) and to conduct business with Chinese-speaking business persons.

 

2. Mid-level Class

Applicable for students who have mastered about 1,500 words and are able to talk and write in basic  Chinese . Through one year learning of listening, speaking, reading, writing in Chinese, students will have a basic understanding of Chinese culture and society, and most of them are able to pass the mid-level HSK (Chinese Proficiency Test), and to conduct business with Chinese-speaking business persons or to work Chinese-owned companies.

 

3. Senior-level Class

Applicable for students who have mastered about 2,000 Chinese words and are able to talk and write in  meaning ful Chinese. Through one year learning of listening, speaking, reading, writing in Chinese, most of them can pass advanced-level HSK (Chinese Proficiency Test) and are able to conduct business in fluent Chinese with Chinese-speaking persons, to work in Chinese-owned companies, to teach elementary Chinese to students and to translate for bosses, officials in their home countries.

 

 

Note: Semester-long classes are also available. When applicants amount to 10 persons, a new class is to be set up.
